Latest technologies. Energy lives here.
Le Pinete is a climate-controlled building using systems designed to make the most of all the available means: Geothermal, solar thermal, and solar photovoltaic. Ten geothermal drills installed at a depth of approximately 100 m pick up the natural heat stored in the subsoil and bring it to the surface. Then, a heat pump converts the natural heat bringing it to a higher temperature level, and finally sending it directly to the inlet hydraulic circuit. It is an extraordinary, non-polluting solution that does not require fireplaces and does not emit CO2 into the atmosphere. Completing the geothermal system, 20 sqm of solar thermal panels were installed that contribute to the production of hot water. The entire system is supplied by a photovoltaic system, able to provide the necessary energy to supply the geothermal system as well as satisfy all the other energy needs of the building.
